As Board Treasurer and Community Affairs Liaison, Dorothy utilizes her role within the company to foster a positive attitude about the future. Positive thinking, she says, is in her DNA. "My 94 year-old mother has taught me that helping others will benefit the community and it benefits you and your family as well."
Dorothy embraces opportunities for community service as a way to build relationships in the community and morale at the winery. She has active roles in the Manteca Chamber of Commerce, Manteca Mayor's Committee on the Arts, Soroptomist International, Manteca Visitors and Conference Bureau, St. Joseph's Medical Foundation Board, Stockton Symphony Comes to Manteca and the Delta College Foundation.
Dorothy takes great pride in documenting family history, including photos and recipes, to ensure that future generations know the heritage of the family and winery. She co-authored "Wine, Food and the Good Life," a cookbook of traditional recipes extolling the virtues of family and food.
