Board of Directors : Vince Indelicato

Vince Indelicato is a great communicator. He honed his skills as a young man working as a sales representative way back when DFV Wines was still called Sam Jasper Winery. "I have always loved talking to people," he says. "I still have great friendships from when I started in this business many years ago."

Former President and CEO of Delicato Family Vineyards, Vince brings a depth of understanding of the cycles of the wine industry that only experience can buy. "I've seen the wine business change over the years," he says. "It's a tough business and, although our family has weathered some pretty rough storms, we learned to never give up, always keep pushing. We love farming. We love the wine industry. It never occurred to us to quit."

It is Vince's fortitude and business ethics that he brings to his position on the Board of Directors for DFV Wines. He has served on the Board since 1973. "Witnessing the tremendous growth of the company over the decades and watching the Generation Three take the reigns has been very gratifying," he says. "The future is very promising."

Vince and his wife Dorothy are still active in the daily business of DFV Wines. His daughter, Marie, runs the tasting room, and his son Robert also works in the wine industry. Vince has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Vince's favorite pastime is spending time with his five grandchildren.
