Bios : Claude Hoover

As President of San Bernabe Vineyard, Claude Hoover is responsible for creating and executing the long-term master plan for the development and operations of the property. Claude has held several positions with DFV Wines, including Chief Financial Officer, Director of Strategic Planning & Finance, and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Delicato Family Vineyards in 1981, Claude worked six years in commercial real estate and commercial banking with Bank of America and Bank of Stockton.

Claude received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1975 and a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from California State University, Stanislaus in 1986. He attended Stanford University's Graduate School of Management, Executive Program in 1999.

Among his many industry and community memberships, Claude is a select member of the Monterey County Leadership Council, which provides the strategic direction and guidance for long-term economic development in Monterey County through Competitive Clusters. Claude also serves on the President's Council for California State University at Monterey Bay, the American Society of Enology and Viticulture, the Monterey County Business Council, the Monterey County Overall Economic Development Commission and the King City Chamber of Commerce.
